The Triangle region is growing significantly. With it comes jobs and rising housing prices. A regional transit network can provide economic opportunities and relieve the out of control housing market and ease issues of displacement. Capital Area Friends of Transit, in partnership with WakeUP Wake County, is hosting a learning session on the economic and social impacts of a regional network.
Hear from representatives from Google, the Research Triangle Park Foundation, and the former Lt. Governor of Massachusetts Tim Murray in a moderated panel with INDY Week's own Jane Porter. Be able to ask your questions and learn about how being connected can improve the lives of residents around the area.
Listen to the NC Governor's Office, the NC Department of Transportation board member for the Triangle region Valerie Jordan, and fellow elected officials from around the nation.
This event will be held virtually due to the unknown concern regarding the recent COVID variant.
Have a question about transit you want to INDY Week's Editor-in-Chief Jane Porter to ask the panel? Email it to her.
